A sturdy and lightweight leak detector that is convenient to carry. It detects invisible leak points using ultrasound.
When compressed air or gas leaks from piping lines (for example, due to loose or corroded flange screws), ultrasonic waves are generated. By using the leak detector LD400, it is possible to detect leak points that are inaudible to the human ear and too small to be seen from several meters away. The design of the horn-shaped sound collector does not interfere with positioning using a laser pointer. A handheld ultrasonic transducer is used to detect leak points in the pressure reduction system. The transducer is installed near the location where sound approaches the piping line. Ultrasonic signals are generated from leak points that the LD400 can detect.
